Orange / Bacon Duck
Stuff ducks with your favorite turkey dressing
(Adding apples, orange slices, cranberries, raisins)
Wrap each duck in bacon
Cover -Bake 325 - 3 hrs.
Remove most of drippings when basting birds
Sauce for basting -every 40-45 mins.
3- Cups Orange Juice
2- Teaspoons vanilla
1/2- Cup brown sugar
Bring to a boil, then add
3 - Tbls corn starch
3 - Tbls water
I also add ½ to ¾ cup orange marmalade
Serve warm left over sauce with duck in small bowl for
dipping
